Boulder Cottages (BC) is a unique and stunning compound of sleeping cottages, lodges and amenities nestled on five acres of land, water fronted on Quonochontaug “Quonnie” Pond in South County, Rhode Island. Quonnie Pond offers countless calm water activities as it is one of the many salt ponds in Rhode Island protected by a barrier beach. For those with suitable boats, Quonnie Pond has direct access to the Atlantic Ocean and Block Island Sound. The cottages are situated in a natural, shaded and completely private community to be shared exclusively by one group of guests per week.

Whether you enjoy sunsets viewed from the dock, a quiet read sitting on your own beach, fishing with a grandson, campfire stories, a New England lobster bake or just the company of your good friends and family, Boulder Cottages offers a taste of past, nearly forgotten, simpler times. The cottages where first create in the mid-1950’s with a casual, almost “fishing camp” atmosphere. New owners have completely renovated BC with the idea of keeping the nostalgia but at the same time enhancing the charm and amenities. All structures have been meticulously appointed and decorated by a local interior “artist.” The main lodge is the heart of all activities and is a new building with commercial grade cooking and serving capacities for at least 30 guests.

We provide the sleeping cottages, game room, horseshoe pit, campfire pit, private dock, kayaks and private ocean front beach... just add the memories.

Boulder Cottages is well suited for a variety of group gatherings including wedding parties, family reunions and business retreats.
